Entre ells trobem l\u2019anf\u00f3s, el d\u00e9ntol, el Gall de Sant Pere o la roja, per posar alguns exemples. Existeix un peix blau, per\u00f2, que competeix amb ells en prestigi: la c\u00edrvia o cirviola, segons la grand\u00e0ria, o tamb\u00e9 coneguda com\u00a0verderol. En angl\u00e8s es diu\u00a0<em>Greater\u00a0Amberjack<\/em>\u00a0i en franc\u00e8s\u00a0<em>s\u00e9riole<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>El seu nom cient\u00edfic \u00e9s\u00a0<em>Seriola\u00a0dumerili<\/em>, \u00e9s de grand\u00e0ria gran (t\u00e9 un pes d\u2019entre 300 grams i 85 quilos) i constitueix una de les esp\u00e8cies m\u00e9s habituals en els restaurants japonesos, on se&#8217;l coneix com a <em>pez lim\u00f3n<\/em>. La seva textura sedosa i el seu sabor suau constitueix un al\u00b7licient per a menjar-lo cru. A Eivissa, no obstant aix\u00f2, representa un dels peixos que sovint se serveixen a la planxa, ben sols o acompanyants d\u2019altres a una parrillada, o formant part de guisats mariners.<\/p>\n<p>A Eivissa molts pescadors aficionats gaudeixen intensament pescant-lo al curric\u00e0, amb el\u00a0lla\u00fct\u00a0en moviment, ja que \u00e9s un peix molt vigor\u00f3s i que planteja batalla. Quan pica, es nota b\u00e9. F\u00edsicament destaca per la coloraci\u00f3 blava verdosa del dors i la ratlla groga que va des de la boca al dorsal, trepitjant l&#8217;ull. El seu nom <em>pez lim\u00f3n<\/em> procedeix d&#8217;aquest curi\u00f3s mat\u00eds. La cua, com tots els peixos de la fam\u00edlia\u00a0Carangidae, t\u00e9 forma de ve i el seu cos \u00e9s extraordin\u00e0riament aerodin\u00e0mic, amb gran poder natatori. Com d\u00e8iem, es tracta d&#8217;un esp\u00e8cie tremendament lluitadora, que realitza canvis de profunditat quan es veu en perill.<\/p>\n<p>La c\u00edrvia habita zones rocoses o de sorra, des de 20 a 350 metres de profunditat. Mentre que a l&#8217;hivern busca aig\u00fces molt profundes, a la primavera i estiu, que \u00e9s l&#8217;\u00e8poca de cria, s&#8217;acosta al litoral. Les femelles aconsegueixen la maduresa entre els 3 i els 5 anys d&#8217;edat, quan tenen una mesura d&#8217;uns 110 cent\u00edmetres. Els mascles s\u00f3n adults entre els 2 i 5 anys i arriben a superar els 115 cent\u00edmetres. El seu aliment preferit s\u00f3n les s\u00e9pies i els calamars, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 mengen vogues i sorells.<\/p>\n<p>Una aut\u00e8ntica maravella, amb una carn tan saborosa i delicada que no requereix de condiments.
