15 Mar Es Torrent Inaugurates the 2018 Season on 20th April: Its 32nd Summer

In less than a month, on 20th April, Es Torrent will reopen its doors and officially kick off the season. Counting this one, 32 summers have come and gone since 1986, when we first christened that little wooden shack – which has evolved into the restaurant we have today, ever retaining the beach-bar spirit that has always characterized us.

Es Torrent will be open every day until the end of October with our usual kitchen timetable: from 1 pm to 10 pm. Xicu Sala and all the team overcame a complicated season in 2017, following the torrential rains that pelted the island last August, causing floods that destroyed part of our terrace and damaged our installations. The beach, needless to say, was an absolute mess. In a few days’ time, we managed to return each and every element to its original state and reopen the restaurant, as we recounted in our previous post.

We are hoping the 2018 season will be calmer weather-wise. But, we cannot help feeling very proud to have such a great team, so talented and professional, not only in regard to our kitchen, but our dining room and beach service as well.

We would like to remind customers that all bookings will continue to be handled by telephone at the number +34 971 802 160, and that during the high season, it is advisable to call several days in advance.
